Inside Photos of Philippine Idol Dance Night

Philippine Idol
Tonight’s theme at Philippine Idol was DANCE NIGHT. Inside the Philippine Idol studio, high energy was sustained all throughout the night. There was a section for the dancing audience waving neon sticks as the Idol contestants danced their song number. It was one of the most enjoyable Philippine Idol show ever. The night was even more exciting with the presence of Regine Tolentino as guest judge. The whole show felt like I was inside a disco club, reminiscent of the seventies. What a fun and enjoyable night. I can’t even decide who should be out. Everyone was a great entertainer . Even Ken Dingle gave a good performance.

Inside Photos of Philippine Idol Song of My Life Night

The theme tonight for Philippine Idol is “Message Through Songs” The 9 Idol finalists choose songs that have either special meaning in their life or convey a special message from them to someone important in their lives. Former South Border lead vocalist Luke Mejares stood as the third judge for the night. So yes, I am back with more inside photos of Philippine Idol. A lot of innovations were seen for the first time such as having a dance number, accompaniment with a grand piano, violin, cello for certain numbers rendered by the Idol finalists. Sometimes the dancing was distracting. I think they should remove dance numbers as it takes away focus from the Idol finalist. Another change was the manner of text voting. Starting tonight, voting will be limited to 2 hours just how it is done at the American Idol. Voting ends at 12:30 am. I think this is a splendid idea as it provides less opportunity to jack up the text votes. My favorites for the night are Gian, Mau and Pow. View Philippine Idol Photos and my blog entry.
