BDO credit cardholders installment options for online shopping

This is something new offered by any credit card company in the Philippines. New installment options for online shopping.

There is no doubt that the convenience of shopping online is starting to gain ground. BDO is offering installment options at 3, 6, 12, 18, 24 months. Promo Rates are effective as of March 4, 2011 to June 30, 2011.

I would probably use installment options for online shopping if the amount is over 10,000 pesos. Anyway here are the promo mechanics.

Promo Mechanics:

The program is open to all principal BDO cardholders whose accounts are active and current.

Online transaction must be:
- A minimum of Php5,000 single internet transaction

- Transactions must be posted to your account within the last 30 days

The required information details are:
- Transaction Description

- Transaction Amount

- Transaction Date

- Preferred Installment Term (3, 6, 12, 18, 24 months)

There are various ways to convert your online transaction to installment:
a. By Phone

Call 631-8000 and request to convert your online transaction into Installment.

b. By Website

Access your credit card account online at http://www.bdo.com.ph and fill-out the Easy Pay Convert Request Form under Customer Service.
