Babies and children grow so fast. After baby’s first year has passed, you probably have a lot of baby clothes and baby paraphernalia gathering dust in a corner. You might even have maternity clothes taking up precious closet space. If this sounds like you, then you should definitely bring them all to The Stork Exchange: An Innovative Mommy Market.
At The Stork Exchange, moms can swap barely used or brand new baby items and maternity essentials. This event is the brainchild of rookie moms Amanda Griffin-Jacob and Nicole Jacinto, who recently started a mommy social boutique called Glam-o-Mamas. The two young moms envision that The Stork Exchange will be the first of many
events that will allow like-minded, environmentally conscious and modern moms to connect, share experiences, and discover the perfect products for their babies & kids.
Aside from the swap, there will also be an array of booths selling amazing baby/maternity merchandise including: Capolino, Eden, Goo Goo Gaga, Kindercare, Medela Moms, The Stork Studio, Mommy Matters, Melodies for Kids, Papillo Stationery, Para Kito, California Baby, Chocolate Fire and Juju Cleanse.
The Stork Exchange will be held on Saturday, September 18, from 2pm to 6pm at M Cafe, Greenbelt 4. The P299 entrance fee comes with drinks and merienda. Part of the proceeds from the event will be donated to WE International Philippines, a non-government organization that provides financial aid, educational opportunity, and economic independence to the thousands of impoverished families residing in Smokey Mountain.
