Did you know that fabric comes with sunscreen these days? While their outdoor apparel is still adheres to high standards of quality and toughness, Omni-Shadeâ„¢ takes sportswear to a whole new level with clothes that have varying degrees of UV-ray protection. I’m thinking that maybe wearing a jacket on a hike sounds a little silly. Maybe it’s better for those northern countries where doing outdoor activities will require that you wear sleeves. But in the Philippines? I’ve only gone hiking several times and I wore as little clothing as possible because I know that I’ll be sweating a lot. Not to mention the humid tropical climate that we have here will make anyone wilt, even when you’re not doing any physical activity. But apparently, Columbia’s line of clothing is designed so that the wearer feels cool and comfortable, even during the hottest months of the year.
When I looked through the Columbia website, I saw that they also have traveling backpacks on the catalogue. I’ve been giving some thought into investing money in a durable travel backpack and I wonder if theirs is any good. Well I don’t really know much about what to look for in a travel backpack to begin with, so if you have any suggestions and brand recommendations, that would be sweet. :D
