Epson Printers and Projector: The Paperless Office Reimagined

My first printer in the early nineties was an Epson dot matrix printer. What a functional printer! It printed wordstar documents quite efficiently. When the inkjet printers came, I was disappointed to note that their speed got compromised.
Technology seemed to have improved because Epson printers are super-fast today. Not only that, I got introduced to a whole new concept that Epson is redefining.
Today, Epson Philippines launched its redefinition of its products. Epson redefines the Eco-responsible workplace with its new suite of efficient printers and projectors.

I will be attending this Media Launch on July 29. I’m quite thrilled because I hardly get invited to Tech Events.
Upon first glance, the 10-inch Asus EeePC 1000 sticks to the formula and doesn’t seem to be much different from its predecessor. There are some changes though, the most significant one being a new Atom processor instead of the Centrino single core. Besides the Atom, other important modifications include an optional 80GB HDD, built-in Bluetooth, and support for the Draft N wireless standard.
The Asus EeePC 1000 will be available in the Philippines beginning next week, July 23. Although Asus Philippines has not released its recommended retail price yet, we can guess from the Amazon prices that the 1000 40GB will cost around Php 28,5000 and the 1000H 80GB will go for Php 39,000.
Product specifications:
At least 3.2 hours of battery life and 8 hours maximum, 1.3 megapixel camera, 802.11n, and Bluetooth. The Linux-based 1000 model has 40GB SSD, while the Linux or XP-based 1000H has an 80GB traditional hard disk.
HTC Touch Diamond in the Philippines Mid-July

HTC Touch Diamond is taking the mobile experience to a whole new level with the unveiling of their flagship phone, the HTC Touch Diamond. Besides its compact size and its sleek shape, the Touch Diamond is unlike any other mobile phone because of its innovative, touch-sensitive 3D interface called the TouchFLO 3D. What it does is that it gives animated access to your text messaging, e-mail, photos, music, weather, and more.

But the Touch Diamond is more than just a pretty interface. Imagine having broadband-like Internet with HSDPA 7.2 mbps wireless connectivity right in the palm of your hands. The Touch Diamond also provides a customized mobile web browser that enables easy, fast, and smooth website navigation. Turning the phone sideways automatically switches the webpage view from portrait to landscape. Besides effortless website navigation, The Touch Diamond includes an HTC-developed YouTube application to watch user-generated content.

In terms of style and size, the HTC Touch Diamond blends contrasting design elements of metal and geometric shape, and the very shape of the mobile phone is created to fit comfortably into your hand without compromising features or functionality. Besides a built-in camera with autofocus, the Touch Diamond’s Body also has advanced wireless and auto sensor screen pivoting.
