Everyone’s sure to be flocking to the malls now that Christmas is less than a month away. Traffic is going to come to a standstill and so will the lines to the cashier. Do you really want to go through all that trouble in order to get your Christmas shopping done?
Thank God for Multiply shops and their adorable and unusual wares! Here are several cute gift items you can get for your girlfriends without taking so much as a step outside your cubicle or bedroom.

Shoe bag
Every girl owns at least ten pairs of shoes, sandals, and flip flops. And even if they have a shoe rack or closet for all their footwear, it’s bound to run out of space or be completely disorganized. Help your friend keep her shoe closet neat by giving her Peek-a-boo Shoe Bags from Fab Manila. Each shoe bag comes in one of six bright colors and can fit up to four pairs of flip flops.

Reversible shopping bag
Shopping bags are more than just a trend - it’s a way of being environmentally sustainable by reducing the demand for plastic bags. With that in mind, reversible shopping bags make a practical and cute gift for the holidays. They’re easy to fold, easy to wash, and large enough to hold several clothes, books, or whatever you might need an extra bag for. Not to mention that the option to choose between two different designs always comes in handy when you want a wardrobe change! Another favorite from Fab Manila.

Eggling
These precious egglings are a popular gift item in Japan, and now you can find them in the Philippines by hopping over to Eggling! They look like an egg and feel like an egg, but make a tiny crack on top and a garden of your own will start to grow! All you have to do is place it in a bright spot and water it everyday. In five months you can plant them directly into the soil. Perfect for friends with green thumbs or who want a little bit of nature in their room or apartment.

Colgate Robot Pendant
Kids who grew up in the 80’s did NOT have a childhood unless they played with one of those robot toy freebies from Colgate. What made them such an awesome collectible was that you could make them transform from a little to a tiny little robot. Somehow Pop Love Junk was able to travel back in time and come back with Colgate robots in the form of pendants! Colgate robot pendants make cute gifts for girls and guys of any age.

Hand-painted bangles
Works of art don’t have to gather dust on a wall. Thanks to an enterprising Multiply store called Baubles, Bangles, and Beads, you can now be a modern-day canvas and wear hand-painted bangles on your wrists. Each piece is intricately done and sure to liven up a simple outfit. You can even ask Baubles, Bangles, and Beads to custom-paint a bangle or a pair of white canvas shoes!

I’m a thrift store junkie and I don’t often buy brand new clothes and shoes. But when I saw these cute, suede purple sandals at the Ruth and Esther boutique at Power Plant today, I couldn’t get them out of my mind. Most people think that purple is a pretty difficult color to pull off, especially on footwear. But when you wear a lot of single-color tops and dresses like I do, purple sandals can really add life to a simple outfit. After an hour’s deliberation, I decided that I definitely wanted them in my wardrobe.

The saleslady told me that the purple sandals are from the Tanaka collection of a local company called Ichigo Shoes, and the pair I got was the last pair for that color. I was worried that it wouldn’t fit me because I’m a size 6 and the remaining pair was a size 7. But I guess Ichigo makes their shoes a little smaller than usual because the size 7 pair fit me perfectly.

Whatever guilt I felt for buying new shoes disappeared when the saleslady added that they’ve only had the Tanaka collection since Monday. Apparently, Ruth and Esther only gets one pair per size, per color. I hate it when many girls also have the exact same clothes or shoes I buy for myself, so knowing that they only had limited stocks made me feel good and made the purchase completely worth it.
Besides Ruth and Esther, Ichigo Shoes can also be found at lower ground of the Theater Mall at Greenhills. You can also order shoes online from the Ichigo Shoes Multiply site.
