You might have watched the last Harry Potter movie Imax Theater in SM Mall of Asia but I didn’t because I find SM Mall of Asia too far south. Good news for Metro Manila residents in the North, an IMAX theater is opening at the SM North EDSA.

If you find Imax theater at the SM Mall of Asia too far, then no worries. Finally, an Imax theater will open on July 16, 2009 at the SM North EDSA. Now that’s good news for residents in Northern Manila.

Imax Theater in SM North EDSA will feature Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I was hoping they’d show Star Trek once again. I missed watching it in IMAX delight.

Spider-Man 3 is showing today at the SM Mall of Asia Imax theater that I am getting a lot of hits on the search for “Imax theater schedule”. Well to know the schedule, click here to get the current movie schedule. Cast includes Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Thomas Haden Church, Topher Grace, James Franco, Dylan Baker, Elizabeth Banks, Bryce Dallas Howard, J. K. Simmons, Theresa Russell, James Cromwell, Tim deZarn, Rosemary Harris, Mageina Tovah, and Cliff Robertson. Running time of the movie is 2 hours and 20 minutes.

I need to see Spider Man 3 in the Imax theater. Friends have mentioned that the digitally remastered and sound remastered IMAX version of Spiderman 3 is truly sharp and vivid. I can’t believe that the Imax theater at the SM Mall in Asia is the largest in the world in terms of sale.
