I was pretty excited over the special screening of Ice Age 3 because of its digital 3d cinema. Just before the special screening, it was explained that the Digital 3D Cinema technology creates a whole new world of viewing pleasure by bringing vivid, brilliant visuals coupled with the crisp, clear surround sound that transport everyone inside the theatre to a vibrantly rich, sensory realm. It is trusted by different film makers associations around the globe including the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).

Words are never enough to describe the digital 3d experience until you are actually inside the theater. I was given special glasses made of plastic material before entering the theater. Seated in the second row with other bloggers, I thought the screen would be too close for comfort especially since it is a 3d experience. It wasn’t that bad at all . I wanted to touch the Ice Age Creatures. It felt so real that I was actually with them.

I was not just watching a movie. I was experiencing it in a way that comes close to reality. I felt bad that the kids were not with me. Even if they are adult kids now, I am sure they would have loved this experience. Ice Age 3 had adventure, witty lines and a heartwarming story.

I can go on and on about how great Ice Age 3 looks inside the TriNoma’s Digital 3D Cinema but you just have to be there.
