From Nokia – Recycle your Phone and Run (A Run for the Environment) on Dec 6, 2008.

“Be part of Recycle Your Phone and Run on December 6, 2008 at the Bonifacio Global City. Just drop your old phones, patteries, chargers or accessories of any brand in the bins provided onsite to participate. The registration for this 3k and 5k run begins at 5:00am. Simply go to the booth located at 9th Street near the NBC Tent.

The event serves to kick of Nokia’s E-cycling campaign. For every kilo of raw meterials collected, Nokia will make a donation to Bantay Kalikasan for the continued rehabilitation of the La Mesa Watershed.”

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE:
5:00AM to 6:30AM Registration
6:31AM to 7:00AM Assembly/Warm- up
7:00 AM Start of Fun Run
8:30 AM Program/Awarding

3. Surrender materials for recycling
4. Receive Race Kit

ENTRY FEE:
Joining is FREE if you bring recyclable cellphone cover, components, batteries or packaging (any brand). Runners would be required to donate an old/busted cellphone item (meaning cellphones, cellphone batteries, cellphone chargers, cellphone plastic casings of any brand) before they can join the fun run.

How about those who do not have recyclable items? – if they insist on running, allow them to run for FREE (no Race Kit)
