Skinny Jeans

Right now, I am fixated with the thought of getting me a pair of skinny jeans. I don’t really like putting too much thought on what I wear, which is why skinny jeans in particular are my favorite fashion staple. Not only do skinny jeans go well with dressy tops, t-shirts, sneakers, and heels; they also give me the illusion of height. Unfortunately my favorite pair of skinny jeans keeps sliding down my ass and exposing my buttcrack, and I’m sick of pulling them up every five seconds.

I’m seriously considering grabbing a pair of Levi’s 531 skinny jeans. That shade of blue is perfect, plus Levi’s is a very reliable brand. But that’s also the very same reason why I’m thinking twice about it; I’m not a fan of supporting big-name brands and besides, I’d feel guilty for spending more than two thousand pesos on an article of clothing.

Which is why I’m also thinking about getting a pair custom-made at Defacto Jeans. I’ve been hearing lots of good things about them, plus I like how they present themselves as an alternative to mass-produced clothing. But when I looked through their Multiply, I was a little disappointed because their jeans look too flashy and fashionista-like for my tastes. I just want a pair of simple, nondescript denim jeans I can wear everyday. I was told that they have good old-fashioned plain denim though, so I sent the Defacto guys an email asking them if they can make me the pair that I want using the material I want. I also asked them if they can turn a pair of old flared jeans into skinny jeans - there’s a pair of flared jeans I wore throughout college and I want to be able to wear them still. I hope I hear a reply from Defacto soon - I’ve got money and I’m not afraid to spend it!
