I’ve been trying to grow out my hair for months, and right now it’s still at that stage where it’s too long to be comfortable but too short for it to be sexy or for me to do anything interesting with it. I’ve been considering hair extensions, but it seems a little sinful to pay five thousand bucks or more for temporary long hair that will fall off after a couple of showers.

Count on the Japanese to give you instant anything! While I was poking around some websites, I discovered a place in Manila where you can get all sorts of crazy hair extensions at an amazingly affordable price. Tokyo Posh Hair Extensions is a hair extension service that allows you to change your hair as frequently as you change your clothes. I’m not sure how it works exactly, but according to the website it’s simply clipped on like a barrette, unlike traditional hair extensions that have to be woven in.

Instant long, straight hair costs around Php 1,800.

Long wavy hair (this is the one that I want) is also Php 1,800.

They also have clip-on ponytails that will pick up your look in just seconds. Long straight and wavy ponytails cost Php 1,350.

Has anyone ever gotten hair extensions from Tokyo Posh? I have no clue as to how realistic the hair extensions look and feel, and how long they’ll last, but I’m definitely going to try it out one of these days.
