Recently I bought a Nikon D40 as a 23rd wedding anniversary gift. What made me choose a Nikon D40?

1. It is the most affordable DSLR in the market.
2. The D40 also works with some third-party lenses which also have internal motors, such as Sigma’s HSM lenses.
3. D40 has a decent battery life
4. a decent viewfinder, short shutter lag, very short viewfinder blackout.

When will I get my DSLR, my blog is supposed to be a daily photo blog with my *imaginary* DLSR…Goodness I hope I can get one soon…I’m looking forward for a Canon EOS 400D or 450D
