Naked Sun has been “out” informally since April.

Here’s why Naked Sun happened and how different they are from other local swimwear brands:

As with most things and brands, Naked Sun began by being avid users of the product: swimwear. The owners of Naked Sun are a beach-loving bunch and one day, while having a sundown cocktail by the beach, the discussion went this way: We’re a tropical country with beautiful beaches. Why isn’t there a local swimwear label that delivers world-class quality without the horrifying signature price tag? We then began sourcing materials, brainstorming designs, working out our fit. And after a year of preparation and work, we’ve proud to present our debut collection.

Their search for the perfect fabric led them abroad, as did the quest for accessories that would withstand both pool and sea water. They spent quite a few months looking for the perfect sewers who had the same meticulous approach to the clean details that they wanted. All their suits are padded yet streamlined, reversible when possible (more bang for your buck), and well-lined.

The Naked-Sun owners are proud to call this excellently Filipino-made. Something that looks and feels beautiful, something for both lounging AND play.
