Macbook Air in the Philippines
March 11th, 2008 with 268 views

The world’s thinnest notebook (well, according to Apple anyway) is now available in the Philippines! In case you can’t remember what its specs are, the Macbook Air weighs only 3 pounds and is a mere 0.76″ thick that tapers down to 0.16″. It comes with a 13″ screen, 80 GB disk or 64 GB solid-state drive. Not really the most powerful notebook on earth, but I suppose its allure is in the sexy factor. It may seem really flimsy and it doesn’t have a user-replaceable battery (meaning, you’re screwed if the battery breaks down), but you can’t deny that the Macbook Air is quite a head-turner. Available at the Greenbelt Power Mac Center on a by-order basis for approximately Php 94,990.
