If you’re looking for an exquisite hotel experience at Boracay that’s within the range of your budget, Microtel might be the place for you. The Microtel Boracay is tucked away at beautiful beach front location at Station 1, far from the noise of the clubs and hordes of partygoers. At only USD65 a night, you get to enjoy their amenities and excellent service of the staff.

Microtel has their own shuttle service that picks you up from the airport and which you can use to go to the party places at Station 1 and 2, without any extra fees. Upon entering the lobby, you are greeted with a warm, peppermint-scented hand towel to wash the dirt off your hands, and a shell necklace to add a tropical feel to your beach attire. A spacious lounge is just ahead, followed by a small restaurant and a kidney-shaped, chlorine-free swimming pool. From the lobby you can see the coconut trees and just beyond that, the cool blue waters of Boracay.

Sleeping in a Microtel room is something that everyone must experience at least once in their lives. Their chiropractic beds - a standard feature in all Microtels all over the world - are the softest beds I have ever laid my back on. A few minutes after placing your head on the fluffy comfort of their pillows, you’ll drift off to a sweet, instant sleep that will make getting up in the morning very difficult.

Even if you do get up later than you originally wanted, you can easily walk a couple of meters and continue to sleep no the beach. The hotel’s beach front location makes it very convenient for you to go swimming or get on a boat to go island-hopping. They even provide lounge chairs and hammocks to make soaking up the sun a comfortable experience.

The Microtel staff doesn’t wait on you hand and foot, unlike in five-star hotels, but you receive excellent service from them anyway. If you’ve forgotten to bring your shampoo, toothpaste, or toothbrush, just ask the front desk for one and they’ll gladly give it to you. You can even get sunscreen from them if you weren’t mindful enough to bring your own!

Visit the Microtel website to check for vacancies or to make reservations through their online reservation system.
