Shopping at Multiply: Sassyspot

In the social networking site Multiply, there exists an underground community of shoppers and enterprising fashionistas that sell adorable, unique, and affordable clothes, swimsuits, and accessories. Aside from their Multiply sites, these sellers don’t have any other websites, and their advertising is done through word-of-mouth. I spent a good chunk of last night just Internet-window-shopping at Multiply and I came across a bunch of awesome sites that sell shoes, clothes, bags, and accessories I’ve never seen elsewhere. The Shopping at Multiply series features my favorite Multiply sellers based on the items they have for sale. I haven’t tried buying anything from anyone yet but I probably will as soon as I get my paycheck.

Sassyspot is home to one of the most fabulous shoe collections I’ve ever seen. Besides their adorable collection of casual and dressy flats, what I love most about this site is that they carry all sorts of boots at a very reasonable price. From patent leather, to suede, to fur. This pair of black leather booties costs only Php 1,500!

The downside? Most of their items are pre-order, meaning if you order them now, you won’t be getting them til two months later. I really wanted to buy those booties but I was worried that they may no longer in style come February. Also, it’d be ridiculous to wear boots with summer so near. I was saved from the fashion dilemma when they informed me that that pair has been sold out. Oh wells. (Does anyone know where I can get a similar pair of booties? So in love with them!)
