Maybelline Intense Volume and Length XXL Mascara

Today I spent over a thousand pesos on makeup. It’s a lot of money for makeup, especially for a low-maintenance chick like myself, but I’ve been meaning to snag me a tube of Maybelline’s Intense Volume and Length XXL Mascara for several months now. I first tried it out when my best friend bought one (she was smarter than me though; she got it on sale with a 20% discount). This is the first mascara that actually made my lashes look longer and thicker; in fact, it looked as though I had false eyelashes glued on. The secret to why this mascara works so well is the white inkwell for extra length. You apply this to your lashes before the volumizer (the actual mascara). I’m not a makeup person but I fell in love with this mascara the moment I first tried it, and now I refuse to use anything else. It doesn’t really irritate my eyes or contact lenses much–just don’t wear it the entire day. I gotta admit that it’s a tad difficult to remove, but a little virgin coconut oil on tissue does the trick.

After months of surreptitiously borrowing my best friend’s Maybelline mascara from her makeup purse, I felt bad about being such a leech and finally decided to get my own today. It costs Php 599 at Robinsons Department stores.
