Christmas rush at shopping malls

Look at the maddening crowd at the Glorietta Mall in Ayala Commercial center. Some of these are not really mall shoppers but commuters who connect to SM Makati to get to the MRT. You wouldn’t want to be caught in this human traffic. Ugh. The Christmas rush adds to the usual volume of commuters in this mall. Oh well, it’s a sight to behold.
Christmas Trees in Malls

Christmas trees in malls never fail to attract eager shoppers. Wikipedia says that
A Christmas tree or Tannenbaum is one of the most popular traditions associated with the celebration of Christmas. It is normally an evergreen coniferous tree that is brought into a home or used in the open, and is decorated with Christmas lights and colourful ornaments during the days around Christmas. An angel or a star is often placed at the top of the tree.
Malls ensure that decorations are sparkling, glittery and colorful. Look at how the merchandise is positioned among the trees. It’s as if the trees are tempting the Christmas shoppers to buy more goodies

Piazza Serendra is the lastest place to eat . The Ayala Land developers surely know how to dictate the trends of fine dining. After Greenbelt 3, it’s now Piazza Serendra. With so many specialty and dazzling trendy restaurants, everyone can drop in for intimate dinners and special celebrations, casual business meetings or girl lunches and tea. It’s the reason it’s called as the new Foodie Haven, with a fine dining park. One can hop from one restaurant to another. Once you have eaten your main meal from any of their restaurants, one can hop on for dessert like Cupcakes by Sonja, then maybe hop on to wine before heading off to home sweet home. Favorite restaurants are Mezze Luna, Guava, Duo Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Thai at Silk, Fex, Gaudi, Cupcakes by Sonja, Aloha Polu Kai, Portico, Abe restaurant and lots more. The ambience is just perfect for Christmas dinner reunions with your balikbayan relatives or family. Sadly, parking can be quite difficult at night but we used the side road for parking.
