All Saints Day in the Philippines

All Saints Day is widely celebrated in the Philippines. Days before November 1, families already troop to the cemetery to prepare the grave sites of their loved one. Popularly identified as “All Soul’s Day”, this is the day set apart in the Roman Catholic Church for the commemoration of the souls of the faithful dead. It falls on the 2nd of November albeit in this country, most Filipinos celebrated it as early as November 1. Today, we will brave the traffic to bring flowers, candles and remember those that have left us to their REAL HOME. read more?
