Inside Photos of Philippine Idol Song of My Life Night

The theme tonight for Philippine Idol is “Message Through Songs” The 9 Idol finalists choose songs that have either special meaning in their life or convey a special message from them to someone important in their lives. Former South Border lead vocalist Luke Mejares stood as the third judge for the night.So yes, I am back with more inside photos of Philippine Idol. A lot of innovations were seen for the first time such as having a dance number, accompaniment with a grand piano, violin, cello for certain numbers rendered by the Idol finalists. Sometimes the dancing was distracting. I think they should remove dance numbers as it takes away focus from the Idol finalist. Another change was the manner of text voting. Starting tonight, voting will be limited to 2 hours just how it is done at the American Idol. Voting ends at 12:30 am.
