We live in Makati City, hardest hit by Typhoon Milenyo (international codename Typhoon Xangsane) . I captured some shots of the typhoon aftermath that affected my village located in Makati City. The typhoon, which had maximum winds of 120 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 150 kph directly hit Metro Manila. The last typhoon to hit Manila was Typhoon Rosing in 1995. The typhoon toppled trees, billboards and electric posts, also causing floods and deaths to more than 48 persons.
