flabby and fat
Long weekend, thanks to Ramadan. I spent most of my time shopping at bazaars for Christmas presents and clothes for myself. I figured I’ll probably be too busy during the next couple of weeks to spare a weekend for Christmas shopping, so I thought I’d get them done now. Or some of it, anyway.
I guess the thing I hate about staying at home and not going to school is that I end up feeling sluggish and fat by the time the last day rolls around. My new schedules has me running from building to building, and taekwondo is giving me a great workout. Not to mention the gym. So by Friday I feel like I’m really fit and getting a lot of exercise. But come weekend, all I want to do is just lie down and eat and sleep and read. So by Monday I’m all flabby and fat again. This is not good.

Friday night
It’s a Friday night and I have nothing better to do than to read Homer’s Iliad for my History class. As a general rule, I don’t do any schoolwork on Friday nights. But I’m in the mood to just curl up in bed and read, but there is nothing in my bookshelf that appeals to me. I swear, it’s be a long long long long long long while since I bought a book and I am absolutely starving for something new to read that isn’t for school. I was at the UP co-op today and I saw a copy of ‘Tis that I really wanted to get, but I didn’t have enough cash on me because I have to buy a relatively expensive book for my Statistics class to read over the weekend. Boooo.
Must save money for books and hobby! Nyarnyar.
Speaking of school, my first three days of the second semester have been okay. I must admit that I am very nervous about the next three months because it looks like I will be doing more work than before. What scares me is that I’ll have to make use of some sort of computer program for my Statistics class. That can’t be good. : I never used to care about my grades so much, but since I want to keep shifting into AB Psychology an option I’ll have to make sure I do well in all my classes. Already I have quite a bit of work to do. *sigh*
