Geek mode on!
The Druid’s Keep…the comic book store near my house is already open. w00t! I passed by it while I was on my way to the salon for a pedicure, dropped in to take a look, then ended up buying Magneto, The Twisting of a Soul. Guess who’s broke? ;p I swear, I like these indie comic book shops and hobby places more than Filbar’s because the people behind the counters are the owners, who actually know their stuff. Unlike at Filbar’s where the counter people look like ordinary employees whose looks of boredom occassionaly change to baffelement whenever someone pays a hefty amount, say, a hundred bucks, for a piece of cardboard. Anyway, the owner of the comic book store asked me if there were any comics I’d like him to buy, and I told him I read Fables, but then I stupidly forgot to add that it’d be great if he sold VS singles too since he only has booster packs. Oh well, next time.
Argh, I’m absolutely itching for a game of VS, and I won’t be seeing my friends till Tuesday. Razerazerazer.
