This is hell month

This weekend was semi-productive. I got some of my papers started, but the only thing I really finished this weekend was this article for my column. Yes, I have a column–nothing big though, just for a small online publication at school. Will post the details when the site is launched on the 18th. :)

What’s really pissing me off is my Filipino project. It’s a group project on the study of a series in the 80’s issues of Liwayway magazine called Teenage Love Story. The final project is a documentary, which I said I’d be very glad to direct and write the script on. I thought it wouldn’t be that hard, but now I’m confronted with two problems:

1) My professor is treating us like we’re children. Instead of just giving us what to do and leaving us alone to do it, he wants us to do things step-by-step and have him check what we’ve done before we proceed to the next step. As a result, I should be half-done with the documentary’s script, but I need the last step in order for me to get a vision of what I want it to be like. It’s due on Friday so yeah. Looks like I won’t be getting much sleep this week.

2) I don’t have a camera since my friends are using theirs for their respective projects. I have yet to talk to my groupmates and ask them to find a camera we can use, preferably digital so we won’t have to spend for editing.

One month to go before finals! I will survive.
