Me and my foreign horror flicks

A Tale of Two Sisters is one very, very fucked-up movie.
I thought it’d be like Ju-On, with vivid grisly imagery and people dying for no reason. It was that and more. Way more. Watching A Tale of Two Sisters is a lot like subjecting your mind to a huge-ass rollercoaster going 200 kilometers per hour on 100-feet drops and 90-degree turns, with bloodied ghost women popping out and buckets of blood raining on you in between. My hands are shaking. I can’t get it out of my system.
It was hella scary, and very confusing, and you don’t understand anything until the last five minutes of the film. As my own sister aptly put it: “I want my two hours back.”
