I certainly hope my dad will go home extremely late tonight. It’s not that I don’t want to see him, but the thing is, Chris and I shall be chatting over the webcam at 1 am my time and I don’t want my dad telling me to scurry off to bed. As if he doesn’t go shuffling around the house during the wee hours of dawn. ;p I am really looking forward to talking to him. I mean, aside from the fact that we have stories to tell on that’s too long to write in an e-mail, I just learned that he’s into philosophy and I’m really curious to hear about what he thinks. We were I guess both really thrilled to find that out, me especially, because it’s great to know another mind and even I don’t get much of that at school.

It’s funny…I just realized that Chris is the oldest friend I have. I’ve known him since I was 13, so that makes it five years. And it’s not that I’m not a friendly person; I’m actually getting better at making small talk, and it doesn’t take me too much effort to say hi to people in the halls anymore. I’m just very picky with the friends I choose to keep. I mean, some people are just good for talking to in class, or going to parties with, or hanging out in the bench with, and somehow I just know that whatever relationships we have can’t go any higher than that. I probably don’t have more than 10 friends right now, but that’s all right. It’s better than having nobody to talk to.

Maybe I should take a nap or something, since Chris won’t be online till two hours from now.

threaded comments hack -I had problems with the original files since I use private entries. With Princess Daynah’s help, it now works.

WP Subscribe To Comments- This plugin will allow your readers to get email notifications when comments are left on a post after their own. The install is very simple and does not modify any WP core code. As well, it’s future-proofed to work, as is, with the next version of WordPress without your needing to upgrade the plugin.
