Take me somewhere…anywhere!
Yargh. I’m jealous of everyone who’s going somewhere for Holy Week. I’m jealous of everyone who’s going to the States this summer. Apparently, I don’t *have* to take Math 12 this summer–I could’ve just kind of put it off until my senior year or something. Not that I regret deciding to take it up now because at least after May, I’ll never have to look at another number again. But still. AHHH!!! I want to go somewhere. I need to go somewhere. I miss travelling so much, it hurts. I miss staring out car windows and watching the landscape unfold before my eyes. I miss going to airports and observing my fellow travellers as they drag their luggage behind them, buy newspapers and coffee at the Duty Free shops, or wait on the plastic chairs with me for their planes to arrive. There’s this game I like to play with myself at airports when I run out of things to do: based on what people are wearing or what kind of luggage they’re bringing, I guess where they’re headed off to and for what purpose. Damnit, I haven’t felt so travelsick in a long while. If I don’t get me on a plane within the year, I will die. Seriously.
Possible destinations for me for this year and next summer:
1. Maui for the writers’ conference, in August for a few days. Screw school. I wonder if I’ll have time to learn how to surf. ![]()
2. San Francisco next summer. I’ll make sure that my academic calendar is clear for two months. I miss home. I’ll be staying at my tita’s house in Hercules, then take an internship in the city itself. Will start looking for possible internship openings starting now.
3. Cleveland to visit my tito for a couple of days. I wonder what there’s to do at Cleveland, though.
4. LA..? Disneyland? I don’t know where I’m going to stay, though.
5. Boston for a few days, if I’m lucky. I really really want to go. I think I can crash at the place of my dad’s friend, and spend my days maybe sitting in Chris’ classes at BU or something (though I’ll probably be bored to tears…Management isn’t exactly my thing).
And no, these aren’t just dreams. I’m going to make sure they become a reality or something.

Come see me in Nashville. If you like shopping, this is the place to be. Lots of factory outlet stores here, all the brands, you name it. Ralph Lauren for one has a really big outlet store here. That’s where i get all my little girl’s dresses.

Travelling takes a lot of money though, also I’m kinda worried about bombs on planes right now…hehehe…but I hope you get to go somewhere soon. If you think about Nashville, you can stay with me.
Well, if you decide to go to Boston, be sure to let me know and I’ll come down and show you around so you don’t have to spent all day in boring management classes.
Don’t think I’m not serious… I love any excuse to go down to the city… (I’m not allowed to go without an excuse!)
I’m stuck at home this Holy Week too and am dying to travel. I can’t wait for summer, because then my apprenticeship will be over with and I can visit the PH.. after 6 years!! I’m homesick ^^
Come stay with me in LA.
