There’s no such thing as a hassle-free reg day

To my relief, reg wasn’t as hellish as last semester’s. Okay, so I missed my random number (again) when I waited in line at Escaler Hall to get my class changed from Math 12 to Math 11. And I thought the line for credit card payments would be short, and it was–but it was slow-moving and took forever before I was finally able to pay for my tuition. By the time I was done, my feet hurt like hell and I was sweating profusely. But on the bright side, I was able to get all the classes I want–and I’m going to be with my blockmates during Math. Yayness! Instant group study-mates. =D Gawd, I miss those guys. It feels like centuries since I last saw them.

I’m a tad worried about my Nat Sci because I signed up for Physics. Back in high school, I had a really sucky Physics teacher who constantly mispronounced words and was very vague with explaining the concepts. As a result, I ended up spending more time sleeping in class than paying attention to the lesson. I don’t know how I was able to get away with an 85 for high school Physics, but I didn’t really care because I thought I was free from that boring subject forever. But unfortunately I’ll be taking it up a week from now, and I’m nervous because I don’t know anything. Maybe I could read up on some stuff during the remaining days of my sem break or something. But even though I know nothing about the subject, I’m still glad I chose it. It was either Botany or Physics, and I decided that the latter was the lesser evil because plants are even more boring than moving objects. At least moving objects go places. The only things plants do are grow, convert carbon dioxide to oxygen, spend the rest of their lives attached to the ground, and look green until the day they die. Who cares.

I was one of the lucky ones who was able to finish everything before noon. After lunch I considered staying and socializing at the caf, but it was so freaking hot today and every single cell in my body screamed for more sleep. I went home after a while. Sem break totally warped my body clock; I only had a couple of hours worth of sleep last night. So yeah. I’m gonna go take a nap now.
