Why do these things (not) happen to me?

August 4th, 2003 with 158 views

Among the items in the list of things I planned to do in my freshman year of college (none of which has happened so far) is: attend an Ateneo-La Salle basketball game. Looks like that’s another thing that won’t be happening too.

They were selling tickets to the game at UP this morning. I had a one-hour break before my 10:30 class. But did I go and buy myself some tickets? Of course not! I went to my dorm and cleaned my fucking toenails. Now the tickets are sold out, and I am left without a goodbye present for Chris and of course, with the bitterdisappointment one feels when they have been really looking forward to something only to have it not happen.

Of course, I still have the option to camp out in front of the Blue Eagle gym at midnight, but I’m not that desperate you know. And my cousin will try to get me tickets, hopefully not at the La Salle side because that’s almost as bad as not having a ticket at all.

Oh, and for the record, Chris is not my offline replacement for Jason or something really sordid like that. =P

I hope to find myself in a better mood when I wake up from my nap.

yah its true that the tradition of being loyal to your school is that you should watch a game of your school against its rival for you to show your loyalty

if you get tickets for la salle side, it’s easy to swap them on the day itself. :) and if the tickets are upper A or B anyway, then it’s free seating :) try getting from the schools that have games on the same day. :) hope you find tickets!
