I scream like a girl and I’m damn proud of it

Whoa. To anyone who loves a good horror game, I’m telling you–go to the nearest wherever-you-buy-your-games and get a copy of Clock Tower 3 (Playstation 2). Now. I’ve always liked the Clock Tower series but I kind of had doubts about this game because the second Clock Tower wasn’t all that nice except for the first chapter. But when I tried CT3 with my cousins a while ago, I was like, “Whoa!!!” The graphics have improved tremendously! Everything is done in great detail. I can’t say much for character development yet because I just started playing it, but I can tell you this: Alyssa is such a wimp. She can’t shoot, or fight back when she’s being chased; all she can do is run and hide and pray that whoever is trying to kill her will go away. But her wimpiness is actually the best thing about the game. I mean if a big muscled guy with a huge-ass hammer were chasing me around town trying to kill me, I’d be so scared that the only things I’ll be capable to do in order to stay alive is run and hide.

The music is wonderful. I love how it gets all scary once someone starts chasing me. The whole chasing thing came as such a shock to me; my heart started beating triple-time and I started shrieking. My cousins, I think, were probably more entertained by my screaming than the game. :P They rushed to get to videocam but haha, too late. I was already calm and collected by the time they brought it to the den.

My sister: You scream like a girl.
Me: I am a girl.
My sister: Yeah, but you scream like this. Ahhh! Ahhh! Aiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

And it was so annoying because while I was screaming and trying to get Alyssa the hell out of there, my cat kept meowing and biting me on my arm. For some reason he hates it when anyone screams or yells or laughs really loud. So he kept meowing the entire time and biting me. I guess it’s not just my video game persona that’s being chased. It was cute, really, but very annoying because my concentration was lessened a lot. I take running away from whoever is trying to kill me very seriously.

In other news, I decided to join the merry bandwagon and watch X2 along with the rest of my cousins. I didn’t think that I would like it because I didn’t like the first movie much, but surprisingly I did. Just wanted to share. :P

Bah, I’m not making any sense anymore. I want to wake up early tomorrow so it’s off to bed now.

Oh my god…Lolz! That line is so familiar! When my brother (when he’s not in his Hyde persona) and I play with his PS2, I ALWAYS get that same commnet from him. :D And I’m like your friend who just runs and hides. My brother loves to accuse me of destroying the controller cause I literally pound on the buttons when I attempt to fight…Hehe. Was X2 really good? I want to watch that…But the SARS is still somewhere..Gah. Hate that virus.
