Waiting…waiting…waiting…

Hmm. Social life is picking up all of a sudden. Chris just called to ask if I had any plans tomorrow, and when we both found out we’re just gonna be staying at home we were like, “Tara, let’s go out!” I dunno where yet since we’re still kind of looking for people who will come with us. Then I got a text from Aubs about an EB (eyeball) at Greenbelt tomorrow with Lui and other LJ people (I don’t know who though). I’m definitely gonna be there whether or not plans will push through with Chris. That is, if my dad allows me. :P He thinks that I will catch SARS if I so much as take one step outside our house. Ugh. Why are his business trips never scheduled on weekends? I swear, he is so paranoid! If SARS is so contagious, how come I don’t know a single person infected by the freaking virus? And even if I do catch the disease, it is highly unlikely that it will kill me. Grrr. I hope he lets me go out, IhopeIhope.

No other news except that my cousins from Cagayan de Oro suddenly felt like taking a road trip to Manila, and will be showing up at our house in two days. Yay! :D They’re even gonna go to Baguio with us, which is so awesome. I haven’t seen them since I was a kid.

One thing’s for sure: if they weren’t taller than me back then, they’re gonna be taller than me now. :P

Hi Lauryn! I’m from Hong Kong. Everybody is paranoid about SARS too…I have to wear a mask everyday when I go to school, but that’s not too bad once you get used to it!

Hey you! I love your site! I saw you on the Top 200 Rice Bowl Journals thing, and I’m definitely not surprised. I love your blog too - it’s been ages since I’ve been to the PI (I’m filipina too) and it’s so nice hearing about it! We should talk ;) email me . . .
