Come down and waste away with me

This summer started out with many brilliant possibilities. But as always, things never work the way you expect them to happen. First it was Cebu. Now it’s Baguio. Yep, our trip this Saturday got cancelled. Dad got a new job and he starts on Saturday, so therefore we can’t go. It’s kinda good news cos at least I have more time to talk to Jason, and maybe Dad will like his new job better and he won’t be so masungit anymore. But then what will I do for the next two months??? I can’t believe that for the first time, I’m going to be landlocked this summer! It’s something that happens to Angelica…not me! *sigh* You know how people always go to road trips and stuff after they graduate from high school? That kind of crap only happens in the movies. Not to real people like me. UGH. My life is so boring.

*Envies all the people who are at the beach, the States, even Hong Kong…anywhere else but here*

I briefly considered taking up jazz classes at Powerdance, but then it’s not something I’d do even if I were really desperate. Too many annoying girls (and too many pretty girls who make me feel insecure about myself). I don’t wanna take up acting either because I hate performing. The only thing I really wanna do this summer is tennis. My cousins play at Celebrity every now and then…they wouldn’t mind teaching me. Perhaps I can smack the balls using the palm of my hand for now since Dad hasn’t bought me my promised racket yet.

It’s only been around two minutes since I heard about the cancellation of the trip and already I’m bored.

Anyone else landlocked over the summer too? *sigh*
