I am sixteen going on seventeen..
I will officially turn 17 in an hour. And I still don’t feel like I aged one year at all.
I’m having a pretty good day so far. I woke up at around 9 a.m. so I could talk to Jason over the phone. We talked until 12:45, and as much as I’d like to stay in my room and talk to him all afternoon, I had no choice but to show up at graduation rehearsal. Even if the whole ceremony sounds like one big sapfest to me, I still don’t want to be relegated to the back of the auditorium. 
Question of the day: How can three hours of talking to Jason feel like thirty minutes and three hours of graduation rehearsal feel like three days?
My barkada got me a joint gift today and it’s all right with me cos suddenly everyone has birthdays on March. I was really touched by the gesture. A lot of people at school greeted me as well, and I even got overseas SMS messages from Pei and Peter. (Happy 6th anniversary, Pete!! It’s been that long, huh.)
To everyone else who greeted me…thanks. You all rock my world. (Why didn’t I get any text messages from Chris or Stephen?!?!)
And Jason…thanks so much for the books, CD, gift certificates and digital camera. I’m a little overwhelmed that someone could give me so much. But most of all…thank you for your friendship and your love. (This would be the perfect time to insert the L word but I’m not gonna say it to you until we are face to face and when I really, really mean it…)
Well, gotta go get ready. I’m having dinner out tonight and Anthony, Christopher and Tita Belen will be coming over soon.
