I’ve created my own prison

Got home from school less than an hour ago, and I do think that I will be quite busy working on school stuff again tonight. I found out that our graduation won’t be held on April 1 after all; the school rescheduled it to March 29. It’s kind of good news though, cos at least we won’t be graduating on April’s Fools Day. But the undergraduates will be having the same exam schedule as the graduates, and I find that really unfair. I’ll be attending boring graduation rehearsals so early in the morning while all the undergrads are sleeping and rejoicing in the fact that summer is here. Why the hell are they making such a big deal over the commencement ceremony? All that pomp and circumstance shit. Why can’t they just give me my freaking diploma during report card day? I want to get out of high school now.

It’s so strange how the schoolyear is almost over when it feels like senior year just started yesterday.

Cellphones can be evil. One of these days I will turn mine off for a week and not send or receive any text messages whatsoever until after seven days. For my statistics case study I did a survey among my batchmates on the number of text messages they send per day. Most send around twenty or thirty, but I was surprised to see that quite a number of people send at least fifty a day. Some even send up to a hundred. Wow. How can they send so many messages? Do they really have that many friends outside of school? Or are they just really, really shy or something that they have to resort to text messaging to communicate with other people?

My sister got a new phone today. A Nokia 2100 I think. It looks really cute, but I still like the features of my phone better. I didn’t know she wanted a more modern phone since she hardly texts anyone. She’s the only person I know whose prepaid credits actually expire. But maybe she’ll make a zillion friends in her new high school and get really high monthly bills. Hehe.

Well. I want to start working on my scrapbook again.

don’t feel so bad. My college friends (la salle, ateneo, ua&p) don’t get out for at least another 3 weeks, and half of them have classes all through summer with only 3 weeks of break.

Wow. That’s a lot of text messages… I think I’ve sent an recieved a total of like… 5 text messages since I got my phone in August. Is text messaging part of the cell plan? I have to pay 10 cents per message I send and receieve…

There used to be a time I’d send 30-50 messages a day. Wanton spending for someone who had a postpaid account then. Now that I’m on prepaid, I try to send messages only when I need to or when I feel like checking on someone. And yeah, just give the damn diploma. I hate the pomp and circumstance as well…

LOL, that’d be really funny if it were on April’s Fools day! Imagine all the jokes you could play :P

I am happy to continue using my Nokia 5110 brick for the time being. Look, it’s fairly good and sturdy, almost unbreakable :)
