You run into a lot of snobbiness and folks you don't particularly like, but the beauty of it is if you really don't like a person, it's much easier to avoid them than it is in high school when you're forced to be with them for 6 or 7 hours a day. <br /> <br /> As far as worrying about Chris spending a lot of time with his high school friends... Just think, there will be thousands of people who are in a similar mindframe as you -- scared about mingling, etc. It's okay to be scared.. it'll help you be more prepared for what's to come, which is going to be a lot of social fun and intellectually stimulating material! Essentially, college is almost like high school with beer but it’s also something much more than that.
