I’m not sure I’m right where I belong
I’ve been feeling rather melancholic the past two nights and I can blame this all on PMS. My aunt is leaving for San Francisco tonight and there’s nothing more I want to do than crawl in her suitcase so she can bring me with her. They say home is where the heart is and I suppose it’s true because I really miss San Fran. Six more months until summer! How can I possibly wait that long? My graduation is on April 1 and I’ve been trying to convince my mom to allow me to skip the ceremony so I can leave for the States earlier. I don’t think it’s gonna be that important anyway. Aside from not having a picture of me in a toga placed in the family albums, I don’t think I’ll be missing much. But I guess as long as I get to go there sometime during the summer I suppose I can tolerate a couple of days’ delay.
I don’t feel like going to school tomorrow. The weekend was definitely way too short. My brain cells haven’t had enough time to multiply again and in less than 24 hours I will be hurled back into the world of Calculus, Physics and Math. Somehow I seem to be the only person I know who wants to have as little math and science in college as possible. A lot of my friends are taking up business or pre-med courses. Nobody else wants to take up liberal arts. Sometimes I wonder if maybe I should take up a course like Business Administration since it could probably earn me more money in the future. It sounds a whole lot more impressive than “English Studies, major in Creative Writing”. Then again, I’d rather spend four years of bliss with no math and science than to have to say that I’m into liberal arts while everyone’s taking up business and pre-med. College! I can’t wait.

liberal arts all the way!
I avoided all pure math and science (well except for bio 110) since college.
math?? who needs math at all? i dont like it either…
but creative writing sounds like alot of good fun!
I’d advise against taking Biz Mgt.
it’s too broad a course to actually be of any use
Maybe you could major in general liberal arts or writing criticism? It would “look” better than creative writing and you would still get to study what you want. Have you decided what college you want to attend? You are the same age as me and going to college. I have two more years…
Yup, I’ve already decided about which college to go to. That is, if I get accepted!
I have 3 other alternatives though, and I’m bound to make it to at least one of them. And yes, I’m going for liberal arts! No math and science for me (well, except for Political Science).
