Why can’t everyone in the world just speak English?
I don’t have school today thanks to the prayer rally I had to go to yesterday, but the catch is that my last day of exams is tomorrow. Ugh, my mind is about to go loco from studying pronombres, preterito indefinido and imperfecto. As my luck would have it, I’m gonna be having my Spanish exams tomorrow right after my exams at school. I can’t even go out with my friends to celebrate the end of the first quarter. I’ve been studying my Spanish for about two hours now, so you can just imagine the state of my brain right now. x_x I really hope I pass my Spanish exam this time. I don’t know if my parents will make me repeat level 5 again if I fail and it would be very embarassing if I do go back the third time. I try hard, but I don’t know. For someone with a “high IQ” I sure can be pretty clueless at languages.
After a long hiatus, I’ve started listening to jrock again. This is how I work: when I like a certain genre of music, I listen to it all the time and then I get tired of it and stop listening to it for a few weeks or months. I find it so weird how a lot of these jrock artists have these sexy voices when they sing. But then when I go look at their pictures online I find out they’re actually a bunch of gothic cross-dressers, some of which look so scary that Marilyn Manson seems wholesome next to them. Not that I have anything against gothic cross-dressers. If that’s how they want to express themselves then there’s nothing we can do anything about it. In fact, I think some of them look quite cool. But I wonder why they all dress like that. Is it like a Japanese form of rebellion or something, like my punk phase last year? It’s pretty odd because a lot of them don’t even sound the least bit gothic. How I wish I could understand Japanese; there’s probably some sort of explanation written in their songs. But I don’t think I’m going to be taking any foreign languages anytime soon. I’m having enough trouble with Spanish already.
