I don’t know, it’s just the way I am
“how cute! your so naive and ignorant! considering that you have yet to mingle with classier crowds (povedans, assumptionists, ateneans etc.) and have been stuck with only your schoolmates for comparison you can be ‘forgiven’, but once you do i think you’ll find that you are sadly mistaken about this little list, and in fact, about everything that you think. newsflash sweetie, your school is the one considered ‘jologs’ by the other schools. it is the one that people are threatened to be sent to if they dont do well in their current school. it is the unknown school that no reputable guys school save don bosco would even think of mingling with. it contains the type of people that get noses turned up at them because of the way they act and talk. you may think your special because you speak english, but here’s a little hint, maybe you’re special in your school, but speaking english means nothing to the crowd that already does. so sue me if im being tactless but its the truth and your going to have to learn it sooner or later.”
A girl named Amanda wrote this on my comments. But between what she said and what I have to say, I think we can all judge which one of us really is the “classier” one.
How cute! You‘re so naive and ignorant! Considering that you have yet to mingle with the more down-to-earth crowd, and have been stuck with people only of your own class for comparison you can be ‘forgiven’, but once you do I think you’ll find that you are sadly mistaken about what you have just said, and in fact, about everything that you think. Newsflash sweetie. Just because I do not mingle with the snobs you hang out with does not mean that I’m not classy (Since you’re such an expert about who I am and who I go around with, could you please tell me what school my last boyfriend went to?). You are obviously noveau riche, because real classy people don’t need to brag about how many houses they own, what school their friends go to or all the ritzy places they go to. I admit that I can be somewhat of a snob, but at least I can mingle with people who are “classy” and people who are not.
I am not afraid or ashamed to admit that my school is one considered “jologs” by other schools. I don’t give a flying fuck about what others think of my school because I hate it too. But just because the majority of the people in my school are “jologs”, doesn’t mean that I am one of them. You are stereotyping. I do not think that I am special just because I speak English either. I think I am special because I have class and poise. Unlike some people here. It’s so sad, because I know that you’re already in college, yet you act like a catty, shallow high school student. The ones I particularly despise. There is a reason why my parents sent me to my school, and as much as I hate it there I think I am beginning to understand why. I was sent here because they did not want me to grow up as snobby, obnoxious and discriminating as you. Yes, I am still snobby and discrimmating up to a certain level. But I am not like you.
One more thing. Why are you taking my list so seriously? I just wrote it for kicks. Most of it is based from observation, and a lot of it is grossly exaggerated (nanies–didn’t you see that I wrote that some cońos can be feeling rich?). You are obviously very affected and can only mean one thing–that what I have written is entirely true. Didn’t I just say yesterday that some people can’t take it when the truth gets shoved up their ass? Yes, my theory has been proven correct. And why post anonymously? Too scared to use your real name? So sue me if I’m being tactless but at least I’m not a coward to say what I really feel. If I ever become un-classy enough to bitch at someone in her own website, I would use my real name. In capital letters.
Oh well. I did want comments. Hmm. Apparently what I have written is such a controversial piece that people have to write comments using pseudonyms. Perhaps I should put it in the school newspaper after all. Just to piss people off.

*grin* Good on you, Lauryn. Isn’t it funny how people think they know enough to criticise you just from what they read in your journal?
Damn girl, do you ever know how to tear someone up and spit them back out.
I’m on your side Lauryn. Don’t let her comments bother you (and I’m sure it doesn’t). I enjoy your writing, keep it up. Remember, you are writing for yourself, not for anyone.
In this world Lauryn, you can’t please eveybody. And that’s why everyone of us is unique and has his own identity. You have your own kind of personality and do you don’t have to be someone else just to please that person. Just look up high and be positive with comments like that coz that’s what makes you strong.
I hate it when someone stereotypes schools. =/ Good one, Lauryn.
You’re not on her level.
Oh yeah, I meant that you’re higher than her on terms of respecting people.
Good going girl! Don’t let that bitch get on your nerves. She’s so cheap and in my opinion, she’s the one who’s jologs. Don’t let her put you down. i think you’re a great person!
Bravo, Lauren!Don’t dare stop writing!
As what i always say to ppl of her kind:
YOU don’t like my writing?Write your own!
Honestly speaking, I find your coños debate rather amusing being an anti-coño myself. Although not all of you non-conformist fuckers are truly what you really are. It’s a case - to case basis, and it really is rather amusing to find teens who act in a ‘I’m-sick-of-my-goddamn-life-I-hate-the-world-and-I’ll-write-about-it-on-the-net’ Human, all too human my fellow earthling. It’s like this if you’re sick of this reality bullshit then why don’t you channel your efforts into creating a better place to live in. Everybody wants to change the four corners of the universe, start with your corner, from there you can change all the other corners. Frankly, your comment that you were the only ‘english-speaking’ girl in your school doesn’t amuse me one bit. We’re still Filipinos so it’d be better to live up to our heritage. Don’t hate your classmates for being what they are, they were not born the way you were. See if everyone was created equal then there would be no need to have social classes. Just my two cents.
