Feeding my obsession
Last night, I thought of the perfect way to feed my obsession: make a Makoto fan site! I haven’t made a fan site since I was around twleve or thirteen. For awhile I thought of making one for Daniel Johns when I was at the height of my obsession with him, but I was never inspired enough to actually work on one. I thought that making a Makoto website would be good because I haven’t seen a fan site focused on Makoto entirely–in English. I spent my entire afternoon working on it, about four consecutive hours, and it left me feeling so drained that I took a two-hour nap after dinner. It’s coming along quite nicely but I’m quite far from done. It’ll take me another day, or three days at the most before I’m satisfied with it. So if there are any Makoto fans reading this (and I highly doubt there are any–to love Makoto is to be one and alone), watch out for my website!
My dad bought tons of (pirated) DVDs this afternoon–more than ten, I think. He got them for eighty-five pesos apiece ($1.7) and he’s always happy whenever he can get a good bargain. He and my mom are having a movie marathon tonight, apparently. It sucks, but I can never find the DVDs of certain movies I like. Like Angela’s Ashes and Joy Luck Club. Dad did find me The Matrix though, which is one of my favorite movies of all time. Keanu Reeves!
He’s not that cute, but he’s got a certain appeal. You know the way some guys aren’t cute, but the way the carry themselves or a certain something about them makes them look cute. Like Robbie Williams, or Johnny Depp. I couldn’t see why my friends were all going gaga over him in Sleepy Hollow. I didn’t know why they thought he was so attractive cos he seemed kind of wimpy and his hair was a tad stringy. But then I saw From Hell and I said in surprise, “Wow. I didn’t realize he was so hot!” He seemed really sexy and smooth in that movie for some reason. Maybe it was his character, I don’t know. But I like Johnny Depp now, and I want to see that other movie he was in with Cate Blanchett and Christina Ricci. I think that was The Man Who Cried or The Man Who Was Silent and of course, Dad couldn’t find the DVD.

Johnny Depp and Robbie Williams are quite hot! On the other hand, I don’t really find Keanu Reeves attractive at all, although I like The Matrix. Keanu Reeves is just too pale for me and he strikes me as a bit of an idiot. Angela’s Ashesis a good movie.
