On summer days children are bored

It’s sooooo hot today. I hate it. No matter what I do, I still sweat like anything and it’s really annoying me. I can’t wait for the weekend to come because I’m getting quite bored here. This morning I got a text from Cox, my friend back from sophomore year who moved to another school. Anyway, she’s having like this total food trip at her brother’s house on Friday for her birthday. I’m thinking about whether I should show up or not because I’ll probably know like, zero people in there. I don’t fare too well with strangers and I’m not sure if the people she used to hang out with from school are gonna show up. But oh well, it beats staying at home. And hey, free food. I think I’d better go.

Dial-up internet really sucks, especially since my internet hours are sooo limited. I’m used to just leaving the internet on while I write entries or do whatever. And I hate rushing things I have to do online just to save hours. Also, it keeps getting disconnected which really bugs me. I miss my computer! And my mp3s! I hope the repairs get done soon.

I have this theory that people resemble their pets (or that pets resemble their people). All my cats ever do is eat, sleep and occassionally chase each other around the house. All I’ve been doing the past few days is eat, read, play my guitar, talk on the phone, watch TV and occassionally shoot at some zombies or something. Oh well, that’s more than my cats would ever do in a day but still. I’m not used to being so unproductive. But hey, what are summer vacations for? I’m thinking of maybe taking yoga classes just to keep me busy, but it’s just too early in the morning for that! It’s at 9 a.m. I think, and I don’t normally get up until ten or eleven. God, I am such a lazy bum. At least I’ve resumed using the walker for half an hour every afternoon to burn a few unwanted calories. But I’m not really paranoid about staying thin or anything. I just want to look nice in jeans and skimpy tops. I don’t want to become like, a walking stick or something. That’s not sexy anymore.

I’ve never had anything other than dial-up. It must be pretty different for so many people to hate it. :-\

I resemble my dog, she’s small and i’m small. Though, I don’t lie around all day.
