I lose my sense of time in the summer

Man, how annoying. The computer with cable internet got a virus and we’re having it fixed. Since the main LAN card is in my computer, my sister’s cable access is also gone. It’ll take until Friday at most–I hope!–and it bugs me cos I don’t have my mp3s to listen to. :( For now I’m using a smaller computer in my parents’ bedroom that has dial-up. I’m not used to dial-up at all; it’s such a hassle to disconnect and connect. Cable is soooo much better. Oh well, we’re getting Windows XP and adding more RAM to the other computer so it should be okay. I just hope the repairs don’t take too long.

I’m almost convinced that I’m psychic, or at least that I’ve got strong intuition or something. Sometime last week, I asked my mom if we had any relatives who would going to Japan in the near future. I just had this feeling that some relative would be going to Japan, I dunno where that came from. Then two days later, my aunt e-mailed my mom saying that my cousin Anthony would be going to Japan for ten days because of this YMCA thing. What a freaky coincidence but hey, I guess that means that I can stare at Makoto on my bedroom wall till I’m sick of him. Not that I’ll ever tire of him..

My cousin Arielle has the cutest cat. His name is Orange and he’s an orange-colored cat (duh). My family and I went to Arielle’s house yesterday for a Mothers’ Day dinner, and I haven’t been there since I was eleven because they live an hour away from us. I didn’t realize that they had such a nice place; they even have a roof deck but I didn’t get to go there though. I’d like to have a roof deck in my house so I can go star-gazing at night. It’s the kind of thing I’d do when I have nothing else to do with my spare time. Just lie on a cot and stare at the stars. There was this seven-year old girl named Ada who joined us, she’s Arielle’s next door neighbor. I don’t really know how to deal with kids, I guess I don’t really like them that much. But for some reason I got along with Ada real well. She even let me borrow her scooter and I rode it so I wouldn’t offend her, even though I was wearing my girly heels which meant I could easily lose my balance and fall.

There was a lot of yummy food last night but because I’m gaining weight from doing nothing all day, I didn’t eat so much. This is what I hate about the summer. Weight gain. Now I wouldn’t mind gaining a little extra flesh if I was taller. But unfortunately, I’m short and I’m already flabby as it is. I hate it.

Stupid cat. There’s this disgusting-looking, bloated roach scurrying around the bedroom and that freak of an animal is just sitting there and not doing anything about it! I swear, I think I’ve spoiled the cats too much. They won’t even kill for me now. I hate, hate, hate roaches! They represent everything that is vile and disgusting in this world. Creepy little brown things! When I see one on the floor I always hop onto the nearest chair and scream my head off. Seriously, I’m that scared. My mom said I probably got that fear of roaches from my great-aunt who is deathly afraid of them as well. I was always around her as a kid, and maybe I saw her freak out over a roach once. But roaches really are awful. Once, a roach was flying around the room and I guess it could sense that I hated it because it chose to land on my shirt. I practically died from fright and disgust.

I’m gonna go watch TV now.

Don’t forget to post at my new Pucker off forums.

Oh my gosh Lauryn, I probably would have died right there. *yucki* I hope your cat decides to listen to her instinct and kill. ;-) Those animals are disgusting! On one level with spiders. *nightmare*

Do cats kill roaches? I honestly don’t know since I never had a cat before. If they do… then you really spoil your kitties hehe

We have no problems with roaches here. We have lots of spiders though and I’d say that they are worse. :-|
