It’s too much of not enough
Today wasn’t so exciting. We discussed science at review classes today and I definitely need to review my biology and chemistry if I want to pass the entrance exams. Today’s discussion made me feel as if I really was back in school except that there are guys in the classroom and I kinda like that a whole lot better than my real school. Maybe that’s why I often fare badly with the male species of the planet; I am not always exposed to them.
After class I went to the mall to again check if they had Diorama (silverchair’s newest album), which of course they didn’t. And then I looked for a copy of this month’s issue of PULP! because there’s a free ticket in there for the Pulp Summer Slam 2 concert next Tuesday. Tower Records was all out of PULP! but then I saw a Summer Slam ticket in the MTV magazine thing. I was about to buy that when my mom saw the ticket. I didn’t notice it at first but below the list of the bands that would be playing that night was written, “Live female mud wrestling in big screen!” Or something to that effect. My mom automatically forbade me to go to the concert because she said the crowd would go really wild and she didn’t want me hanging out with that kind of people. I was really pissed because I’d been dying to go to that for some days now. I had my outfit planned and everything. And then it occured to me that if I ever get to be in a famous band, I’d be playing for people like that and I wonder what my parents or my relatives would think. I bet the first thing they’d ask me is if I am taking drugs. I think it’s stupid how some people relate drugs to rock music, I’m not that kind of person at all.
In my ire I had forgotten to purchase a copy of this month’s PULP! issue. POD was on the cover…stupid, stupid. The next time I go to the mall I’m going to look for that.
But when I think about it I guess it’s okay that I don’t get to go to the concert because the following day I’m going to Corregidor with my Spanish classmates. If I were still going to the concert I bet my dad would allow me to go out only once and I’d have a heck of a hard time choosing. *sigh* Oh well…

not sure if my last message went through
Lyxander/Xander…these are interesting names.
wanted to tell you my site has some interesting links on theology, if you’re interested. I wrote a lot of journal entries myself, before web days, and I’m amazed how many other people do this!
nice to meet you…

they’ll only release diorama worldwide on july…i can’t wait too *sigh*
The concert sounds fun, but the Corregidor trip sounds fun as well. Oh, why don’t you try Odyssey? They always seem to get new CDs before Tower Records. I found a John Mayer CD there, as well as Hoobastank’s CD (long before it was available in Tower.)
