I tried to rock you but you won’t even roll

I just realized that I have a lot of spare time in May. My review classes for Ateneo De Manila University is on the morning, which leaves my afternoons free. I’m thinking of joining a band–yeah, I know I’ve been thinking that for the past months–but seriously. I just e-mailed that girl from UP who asked me to join their all-girl band. She didn’t reply to the last e-mail I sent to her about a month ago. I hope she doesn’t have any computer trouble or anything because I really, really need something to do. And I don’t mean lessons; I want to really do something, apply all the stuff that I’ve learned. If I don’t join a band, I dunno what else to do with all those afternoons. I want my summer to be fun; it’s bad enough that I get to spend nine consecutive days with my least favorite people in school.

I heard on the radio that the PULP! Summer Slam 2 concert will be held on the end of the month at the Fort. Cool. Glyka still isn’t back from wherever she is, but I’m sure she’ll be up for it. I hope she can make it this time cos whenever we plan to go somewhere at night she always cancels at the last minute. If she doesn’t make it, I dunno…Angelica maybe? I know she listens to rock but she’s so feminine and poised. I can’t exactly imagine her hanging around that kind of crowd. She’d probably be like, “Eww, gross!” 50% of the time. I kind of understand though, cos I can be like that sometimes. But I’m sure she wouldn’t want to go anywhere near the moshpit. Maybe I should bring a helmet or a baseball bat or something with me this time.

That would be excellent if you could join a band. I hope the girl gets back to you. ;-) Have a great Sunday Lauryn!
