What spoiled cats do in their spare time

Since it’s been awhile since I last had something new to read, I went to the bookstore today and bought myself a month’s supply of books so I wouldn’t get too bored. One of the books I bought is called Why Cats Paint: A Theory of Feline Aesthetics, and it was so cool because they showed actual paintings made by all these cats. Although they’re all abstract, I can see that the cats have this sense of art because the colors they use complement each other and they turn out to be very pretty pictures. I’m going to teach my cats how to paint; I think Lady might have the artist in her because she will play with anything that moves. Maybe the colors will fascinate her or something. Kylee is just a lazy-ass (but what an adorable lazy-ass he is!) and he’ll probably just stare at the paper and fall asleep on the spot without as much as a single pawprint on the paper. This is all very interesting, I never realized that cats could be this talented.

I also bought this book called The Best Places to Kiss in San Francisco and The Bay Area. I figured that maybe by the time I’m 24 and living in a small apartment in the Bay Area, I might be emotionally stable enough to have a boyfriend or something. I haven’t really read it yet but San Francisco’s such a pretty place, it’s no problem deciding where the perfect kissing spot would be. If I get to go there next year, I’m going to explore the entire city.

I went to jazz lessons this afternoon. Actually I only stayed long enough for the one hour warm-up and this time I didn’t get tired so easily, which is good I guess. In fact it was kind of fun. I only wish my limbs were more flexible though, I feel like my joints are made out of wood or something. Unfortunately, the moment I got home I found out that we had fried egg rolls for dinner. I tried it with hot sauce and it tasted soooooo good that I kept munching on egg rolls with tons of hot sauce until my tongue felt rather burned. I’ve acquired a taste for spicy stuff, I’ve never touched the hot sauce bottle until just recently. Oh well, at least protein doesn’t have too much calories.
