Nothing’s gonna change my world
I feel so stupid. Kriya texted me awhile ago asking me what time I would be going to Rockwell tonight and it was only then and there that I remembered that there was a party there tonight! Ugh! I can’t believe I forgot about that when we’ve been planning this two weeks ago. It was too late to ask permission from my fussy, conservative dad and then take a shower and dress up. So I’m spending my Saturday evening here, boiling in the midsummer heat. It would’ve been a good opportunity to go out with my friends too; I haven’t seen them in awhile. Well, I’m definitely gonna go out sometime next week.
I swear, April is not my favorite month, temperature-wise. Not only is it so hot and humid but there are mosquitoes everywhere. Last night I could hardly sleep because they kept buzzing around my ear. That is the most annoying sound in the world, especially to a girl who loves her sleep as much as she loves soup and shirtless cute guys. Unfortunately, mosquito nets have gone out of fashion around two centuries ago so I guess I’ll just have to deal with them with bug spray. But that doesn’t get all of them though…ugh. If I do not go somewhere cold next summer I am going to scream.

do you guys have those kind of incense that would drive away mosquitos? i remember using them in china.. i loved the smell too =P
ai! poor you lauryn! i hate the buzing sound, but over here it’s usually flies in the summer.. grRrR o_O
but eh! haha next april, come to CANADA! haha nice and ‘cool’ here.. lol! one reason why i like the cold weather, no bugs at ALL! but the occational spider in the house… muaha!

I hate the buzzing sounds too! Like dodo said see if you guys can buy those incense or get the electric bug zapper thingy…(sorry I forgot what they were called..=p)
Mosquitos? ewww.. the worse part is when your arm gets all itchy cuz of all the bites. Come to Cali next year.
It may be raining, or hot… dunno, the weather has been pretty funny…
Well I dunno about incense but I think citronella candles work. I swear, I wanna go to the States next year! I might be staying in SFO mostly, and then visit relatives in Arizona and Ohio. Hopefully if my entrance exams go well, my dad won’t mind paying for my trip. Otherwise I’m stuck in hot, humid Manila again.
mosquitoes?? i shudder at the thought. but yeah, come to Canada. It’s April and it’s still snowing outside!! them mosquitoes don’t stand a chance. =)
