aptitude test

My favorite subject right now is Home Economics. I’m really glad that for once in my life I am learning something practical in school. We’re taking up Cosmetology right now–imagine getting graded for putting on make-up and nail polish! :) We just finished the section on doing manicures and nail designs, and now everybody does manicures on themselves during our free time; sometimes even during classes when the teacher’s not looking. What I love best about Cosmetology is that we’re allowed to wear long nails and nail polish to school, something we can’t do normally. I did a french tip on my nails awhile ago; it was my first time to do it on myself and I think I did a pretty good job. :) Maybe I should open a beauty salon someday…

School was otherwise uneventful. We took an aptitude test for English and Chemistry this afternoon; the latter was quite hard but English was a breeze. Oh well, I was never really good at Chemistry or any of the sciences anyway. Bah, just a couple more weeks and I will be rid of Chemistry forever! Mwahahahaha.

I haven’t heard a word about my electric guitar from my dad yet, but my uncle told me that he has an Echo guitar that needs to be fixed. I’m thinking that maybe I should borrow his guitar while I wait for my dad to get me my own. I should be practicing by now, so that when summer comes I won’t have a hard time looking for bandmates. I’m worried I’ll just end up sitting around the house and doing nothing this summer. So aside from maybe joining a band and taking jazz lessons, I might go on this writers’ camp. I am not so sure my Germany trip will push through this year because of a management problem (bet it’s bad karma probably cos someone in Germany doesn’t want to meet up with me except for Sandro), but I’ll be going to San Francisco for sure next year. For the entire summer! :) I can’t wait.
