You could be my someone

Ugh, the Internet’s not working tonight. It bugs me cos I was planning on doing my CD orders right now. Yup, that’s how I spend my Friday nights–I do stuff on the computer, call people up or watch TV. Exciting, huh?

Oh yay, it’s working now.

I can’t believe it’s February already. The only thing I like about February is that it means summer is only about a month or so away. But other than that I dread the coming of this month because it can also mean one other thing…..VALENTINE’S DAY. As far as I can remember (well, since the start of my teenage life actually), I have never ever celebrated Valentine’s Day. Even when I was “in love” last year, my significant other didn’t even greet me or anything. And I had to spend an entire day of school with all the (female) couples exchanging flowers and cards and hugs and french kisses. It’s a very depressing holiday–if it is a holiday at all–and I think we shouldn’t have school on Valentine’s Day because we cynical, anti-love people suffer the most unimaginable torture from being exposed to all these PDAs.

I got my report card this afternoon and although I expected the worst, my homeroom teacher told me beforehand my general average . That cheered me up lots because it meant that my grades can’t be that bad. They were actually pretty good. Everything went up or stayed the way they were except for Trigonometry–which I expected–and English. The latter came as a shock to me because I normally do very well in English; I’ve never failed a quiz and I always recite in class. The good news is that I automatically get a grade of 100 in my English finals because cast members of the school play get exempted as an incentive. So I’m more or less contented with the grades that I have. :)
