I have no tolerance for people who don’t have a mind of their own

I feel sleepy right now…damn, these rehearsals can be pretty tiring even though I didn’t do much. After we finished the introduction, the director worked on another song that didn’t include me. Since there wasn’t much to do in the auditorium I decided to just chill with my friends at the field, where they were watching cheerleading rehearsals. Surprisingly though, nobody forced me to attend today…it just came from my own free will. My friends weren’t doing much and I was glad I skipped the first few practices to rest at home. I have to admit though, that my batch’s cheerleading routine looks pretty impressive. As much as I want my batch to lose, it does look like we’ll win. I heard from some people that Nenok was really pissed at me for saying that I didn’t want to join the cheerleading competition, and that made me smile. Aren’t people who are always pissed prone to cancer or something?

The band we used to hire for our previous competitions were there to teach some girls how to play the songs since we aren’t allowed to hire bands this year. The drummer tried to give me a very basic drum lesson but it was all in vain. Playing the drums is a lot harder than it looks. I guess I’ll just stick to the guitar. I really hope my parents get me one for Christmas so I can start working on my songs already, or I will drown in my own teenage angst.

My cousins are arriving from the States tomorrow afternoon and I can’t wait till they arrive. It’s been a looong time since I last saw them. Christmas is always fun when there are more people around.
