You don’t make sense from all the gas you’d be huffing

School wasn’t that exciting today. We didn’t begin any of our new lessons yet so we don’t really do anything. My classmates use up all the spare time we have to talk about the crazy cheerleading competition which will take place at around late January or early February (come watch my batchmates make fools out of themselves..I’m not gonna be around!). I swear, I really do not understand why they are so hyped up about that. It’s not like we’re going to get any real recognition if we do win. We watched the video of our cheering routine this morning and all my classmates were like, “Wow, we’re soooo good!” Well yeah, compared to the others, we were pretty good. But we didn’t exactly do any interesting stunts or whatever. To that, I remarked loudly, “It’s nothing compared to the ones in the Johnson and Johnson Cheerleading Competition.” I hope they heard that, they are so full of themselves.

I saw myself on video and I wasn’t that bad. Still, it was a relief to not hear my name when Rajelyn announced the cheerleaders. Apparently, I’m the only cheerleader from last year’s group that left.

I began my room’s redecoration last night and continued this afternoon when I got home from school. They’re mostly magazine ads that look nice and then these really cool pictures from PULP! magazine. I swear, I wish I started reading PULP! months ago; I used to get a lot of it free when I bought CDs at Tower Records but I’d just cut them up. Stupid, stupid! I used to buy Candy magazine but after awhile they got kind of depressing because of all the skinny, smiling models who get all the hot guys. While I think I have a pretty face I do not exactly get the guys that I want. PULP! magazine is real and honest, and there aren’t any anorexia-inviting models wearing the latest clothes and snagging the hottest guys. Plus they feature all these cool Filipino alternative bands. It was when I started to read PULP! that I got really inspired to start my own band. Maybe someday I’ll be good enough to get featured there…until now I will remain a devoted reader. My dad doesn’t know that I read PULP! though, he’d really kill me if he did. He says it’s for “adults” but I don’t read PULP! so I could drool over the girls in bikinis. I’m not a lesbian. I read PULP! simply because it is entertaining and fun.

I find it really pathetic to know that I’m a fifteen year old punk who hasn’t been inside a real moshpit. I haven’t exactly had any opportunities to go to any concerts because it’s kind of hard to find people to go with me since not all my friends appreciate good rock music. Only Glyka and Dina do but if they do go to any rock concert, they’ll probably be with their Bosconian friends. No thank you..
