I’m a ten ticket thrill ride

Ugh, I feel so sleepy and bloated. I’m really pissed off at my awful physical condition. I eyed myself in the mirror this afternoon and realised to my horror that I look pregnant. I really do! The lower part of my tummy is sorta swelling up but the thing is, I have never had sex or anything so I can’t be pregnant! It’s really pissing me off because it makes my tummy look really fat. I don’t drink softdrinks nor do I eat a lot of rice so I really don’t see why it looks so bloated. Maybe it’s cos it’s still my period, but that goddamn tummy of mine better flatten itself down by tomorrow cos I’m going to a party and it’s going to look so hideous.

I just came back from dinner at Saisaki’s…I swear, my uncle’s so lucky. I’m really considering working for the Department of Foreign Affairs. Perhaps I’ll just spend the rest of my life travelling the world and forget about getting married. The more I think about it the more it sounds like a better idea to me. I don’t really need to spend the rest of my life tied down to some guy, do I? I’ll be like Alexander the Great; I’ll conquer the rest of the world and I’ll only die when I have no unvisited terrains to go to. I can’t wait till next summer comes; my dad says we’ll definitely be going to Laos but my sister and my mother are kind of queasy about the idea. See, there’s no direct flight to Laos so we’ll have to stay overnight in Bangkok and take a little plane to Laos. My sister is scared the plane would crash Aaliyah-style, but if we travel by land we could be kidnapped by rebels. Sounds like fun! :) I mean seriously, it would be an awesome adventure. Unfortunately, I only seem to be the one in the family who’s into these kinda things. My dad seems to be game for it though, but he’s got asthma and gout and all these million other ailments. Oh well, even if we don’t get to go to Laos next year, we could still possibly go country-hopping. I haven’t been to any Asian country yet so next summer would be the best time to go.

Well I’m really tired now and I have classes tomorrow.
